Paula Duncan is a seasoned Human Capital Professional with over twenty years’ experience. By practicing HR using her core principles of pragmatism, agility, and empathy she has established herself as a sound leader steeped in equity and inclusion. Having spent her career in the private sector, she has spearheaded several organizational change projects including mergers, culture changes, performance management changes, and numerous IT projects.
Paula has had several years’ experience working in a multi-national environment and is keenly aware of the impact that equity and inclusion across cultures, can have on the work environment. She has had significant experience handling sensitive issues relating to gender, race and socio-economic biases and has successfully created programs and led initiatives to bring understanding and tolerance to the workplace.
Embodying a creative approach at her core, she has proven to be a sound strategic business advisor, who will identify trends, problems and opportunities and facilitate the generation of business-focused action plans and outside-the-box solutions. With excellent people skills and a relaxed communication style, she has supported her clients to personal, professional and business excellence.
As a passionate artist who recognizes the value of creativity and agility in the workspace, she continues to combine this passion with empathy and awareness of self to develop those individuals and entities with whom she works. Paula enjoys travel, a good book and expressing herself through writing and painting.
